Agile Evaluation

I’ve heard a lot of people who do agile evaluations. The first thing they do is often evaluate the process that a team is following and how close they are following the scrum process. The idea is to get away from “scrum but”, which is basically, we are a scrum team and do this and this except that and that because it doesn’t work for us.

The second step in an agile evaluation is measuring. This is where it gets tricky because what do we measure and how do we measure. I guess each agilest coach will have his own techniques, I sure have mine.

But I came across this article on MSDN that summarises a few, all of which I am in agreement with. Naturally, the list must be adapted to each team as each team is different. Good luck !
