Well, i do not know how the next version of Windows will be named, but here is my short wish list:

1. Have a button in the photos app that is called “recursive slideshow”. My kids all the time want to look at pictures and get frustrated that they have to dig down into a folder before they can see something…
2. We have quite a few tablets in the house, and one is used to “beam” sound Songza to the sound system (via Bluetooth). Now this said, sometimes the said tablet loses it’s connection to the sound system and then I end up having to go to the desktop, right clicking on the speaker tray icon (with fingers), choosing “playback devices” and then right clicking on the sound system icon and then clicking “connect”. Sounds pretty complicated for something that happens more often than it should… could I have a nice link in the “Change PC Settings” screen or, the same way that the “device” charm can show printer statuses, could I have a audio status ?
3. I would love to have a opml import capacity in the bing news app, with the said data being displayed in a compact form (I go through so much rss stuff every day)
4. While I am here wishing for things, could I get miracast like functionality based on dlna that does not require wi-fi direct ? i could easily beam my desktop to my tv without the whole “miracast” thing
5. Lastly, i would love to be able to a Windows tablet as a 3rd screen for my main laptop… that would be great when work from a coffee shiop or the dining room…

Well, with Build 2014 coming up, i guess i am a bit late for my wish list, but maybe i will be surprised with a few elements !
